How To Apply CTET February 2026 Online Form
1. Gather Documents: Prepare scanned copies of your photo and signature, educational certificates, and ID proof in the required formats and sizes (10-100 KB for photo, 3-30 KB for signature). 2. Visit Official Website: Navigate to the official CTET website at ctet.nic.in. 3. Register for New Account: Click on the “Apply Online” link for the February 2026 exam, select “New Registration,” fill in personal details, and create a password. 4. Note Application Number: A system will generate a unique application number; save this securely for all future logins. 5. Complete the Form: Log in with your application number and password, fill in your academic qualifications, choose your preferred languages, select four exam city preferences, and choose Paper 1, Paper 2, or both. 6. Upload Required Images: Upload the scanned photograph and signature files in the specified JPG/JPEG formats and dimensions. 7. Pay Examination Fees: Pay the applicable fees online using Net Banking, a debit card, or a credit card based on your category and the number of papers you selected. 8. Print Confirmation Page: After successful submission and payment, download and print the final confirmation page for your records. Mode Of Examination: Offline (Pen-and-paper OMR-based test) with no negative marking.
Stages Of Entrance Examination:
Eligibility Certificate: Qualified candidates (those scoring 60% or more; 55% for reserved categories) receive an eligibility certificate, which is valid for a lifetime. Note: Qualifying the CTET would not confer a right on any person for Recruitment/Employment as it is only one of the eligibility criteria for appointment.
